  • Batch testing: a certificate of analysis for the specific lot, showing purity by HPLC and identity by mass spectrometry.
  • Clear labelling: marked for research use only and not for human consumption.
  • Records and storage: ordered by the institution, kept cool and dry and logged as local rules require.

Even when a catalogue such as www.peptides-eu.net lists a purity figure, it is worth asking for the certificate that matches your batch.
